Pressurisation chamber for a vehicle cabin

DRIVE November 6, 2013
Source
The chamber (2) has an air outlet (4) designed to be connected inside a cabin (1) to be pressurized with interposition of an air-conditioning unit (5). An electronic unit (12) is connected to a detecting unit (14) for detecting air flow (D). A pressure sensor (16) determines a variation of pressures (delta P) between internal air pressure (Pi) prevailing inside the cabin and an external air pressure (Pe). The control unit is designed to control a ventilation assembly (8) so as to maintain the variation and the air flow to a preset value or between a set of preset values.
