Aircraft electrical system and related management method
DRIVE
October 30, 2013
The system (17) has an electrical network (20) to electrically power functional equipment (14A-14F) of an aircraft (10). A regulating assembly (24) includes a secondary electrical power source (58) formed by a fuel cell (70), and a conversion assembly (60) for additional electrical power injected on the electrical network. The conversion assembly consumes the additional electrical power to create a supply fluid for the fuel cell. Reservoirs (62A, 62B) are inserted between the conversion assembly and the fuel cell to collect the supply fluid produced by the conversion assembly. An independent claim is also included for an electricity management method for an aircraft.
