Additional heating device and air conditioner for a motor vehicle

The auxiliary heating device (10) has an infrared emitter (14), a temperature sensor and a controller (20) for controlling the infrared emitter in response to measured temperature from the temperature sensor. The controller is operatively connected with the infrared emitter and the temperature sensor. The infrared emitter is deposited with a reflector, where the temperature sensor and the controller are integrated in a common housing (12), which has the reflector on one side of the infrared emitter opposite to a transparent window for infrared radiation with the infrared emitter.
