Parking brake valve device and pneumatic compressed air brake system for a trailer

The device (27) has a parking valve (30) comprising an actuator (34) through which a valve body (33) of the parking valve is manually movable into a venting position. A change of the operating condition of the parking brake valve device causes automatic increase in pressure at a control terminal (28) so that a park brake connection (36) of the parking valve is supplied with pressurized air. An emergency brake unit (31) possesses another valve body (50) that mechanically decouples the valve body of the parking valve. An independent claim is also included for a pneumatic trailer compressed air brake.
