Connector assembly

The connector assembly (10) has a base structure (12) having a connection line (14) and a radial push-in opening (20). A connecting unit is connected to connection line of base structure. A fixing element (22) is fixed in radial push-in opening of base structure in the axial direction of the connection line, so as to establish connection unit in an installation position. The fixing element is provided with a fixing portion that is formed such that fixing portion is moved in radial direction during insertion of connecting unit.
