The assembly (21) has a fan housing (17) comprising axial and radial housing openings (15). An intermediate layer (6) is positioned in contact area between the fan housing and a carrier plate (7). The intermediate layer comprises an upper portion (4), two S-shaped middle portions (3) and two lower sections (2). The upper portion and the middle portions are dimensioned such that the upper portion on the carrier plate is faced away from a side of the fan housing, where the middle portions are reversibly deformed.
