Motor vehicle axle suspension with longitudinal leaf spring

The suspension has a multi-layer leaf spring (1) made of composite material and designed as a longitudinal leaf spring, and a clamping device (11) i.e. bracket device, coupling an axle component i.e. suspension tube (15) of a driven live axle, to the leaf spring, where ends (8) of the leaf spring are coupled to a motor car over an attachment. The leaf spring has different cross-sectional dimensions along a longitudinal axis (9) of the leaf spring. The clamping device is arranged at the middle of the leaf spring and movable along the longitudinal direction of the spring.
