Functional module with an exhaust gas turbocharger and an exhaust manifold

The functional module (1) includes an exhaust gas turbocharger and an exhaust manifold (3) for a turbocharged internal combustion engine in motor vehicle. The engine comprises a supercharging pressure control device mounted with a bypass valve (14a) which is arranged in the exhaust brake valve for controlling an engine braking effect. The brake flap (10) and the bypass valve are integrated in the functional module. The engine further comprises an exhaust gas recirculation device having a return valve (8) which is also integrated in the functional module.
