METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TIRE CASING AND A TIRE

The present invention is a method for producing a tire casing by vulcanizing a casing portion comprising a belt portion composed of multiple belt layers, a side portion and a bead portion, and the method includes at least one method selected from the following (a) and (b) . The invention also provides a production method for a tire casing and a tire having improved low-heat-generation property and durability. Method (a) in which a rubber composition containing carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of from 38 to 99 m/g as defined in JIS K 6217-2:2001, in an amount of from 40 to 60 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component therein is used as the belt wedge rubber of the belt portion. Method (b) in which the tire casing comprises a carcass ply and an inner liner composed of multiple layers, and a rubber composition containing carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of from 25 to 60 m/g as defined in JIS K 6217-2:2001, in an amount of from 45 to 60 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component therein is used as the layer of the inner liner adjacent to the carcass ply.
