Railway vehicle pantograph

The pantograph (16) has a bow (22) mounted at an end of a deployable articulated supporting arm. The bow includes a rigid support (28) carried at the end of the arm, and contact strips (15C) carried by the support. A pair of insulating horns (30) extends on both sides of each contact strip, where each insulating horn is movable relative to the support of the bow. A pneumatic jack (46) is provided on each horn for moving the horn relative to the support and independently of the position of the pantograph.
