Method and apparatus for blurring positional information and/or information derived from it

The method involves marking the position information of a position of a vehicle. The position information or the derived information is applied with an intended conveying blur and is sent by vehicle-to-X-communication. The value of the conveying blur is greater than the value of the determined blur. The value of conveying blur is less reduced according to the requirement of a driver assistance system to the value of the determination blur. An independent claim is included for a device for blur positioning of position information or derived information of a vehicle.
