Tubular Airbag

A tubular airbag system for use in a passenger transport vehicle, comprising a tubular airbag (10) having a plurality of inflatable tubular structures (12,), each tubular structure having a length dimension that is greater than its width or height dimension and an opening (20) for receiving inflation gas; and a system (28) for securing the plurality of tubular structures to one another.
