Segmented component

The component has component segments (12a, 12b) arranged relative to one another such that a gap is defined between the segments. The segments are sealed opposite to each other by a sealing device (16) that includes a brush seal (18). The brush seal includes a wire pack (22) that is wound around a core wire (24) and fixed on the core wire by a clamping tube and/or a clamping plate (26). The wire pack of the brush seal is arranged at an angle of between 0 degree and 80 degrees to associated sealing surfaces (28a, 28b). The seal is partially arranged in grooves (20b) of one of the segments.
