Heating cords and heating device with a heating cord

The cord (2) has a resistive element (6) formed of multiple resistive wires (8), which are wound around a carrier cord part (4) next to each other, where the carrier cord part is made of PTFE. Lay length (s) of the resistive element is in a range of 1 to 7 mm. The resistive wire comprises reduced winding space (a) in a portion i.e. finalside contact region (10). Coil portions of the resistive element adjacent to longitudinal direction are provided with the winding space, where the winding space is in a range of 3 to 7 mm. A contact element i.e. contact-crimp, is fastened to the portion.
