Inlet fluid flow and impingement angle control
DRIVE
March 27, 2013
A compressor (110) of a gas turbine system comprises a fluid flow control device (220) and an impingement angle control device (230) downstream of the fluid flow control device. The fluid flow control device (220) controls a fluid flow rate of fluid entering an inlet (200) of the compressor, and the impingement angle control device (230) controls an impingement angle of the fluid flowing to rotor blades (240) in the compressor. The fluid flow control device and the impingement angle control device are independently operable.
