The magnetic-field-emitting element is arranged in such a way that an orientation of the magnetic field, which orientation is considered in a first plane orthogonal to the first direction, changes as a function of a distance separating the first plane from a first end of the magnetic-field-emitting element. The magnetic-field-detecting element is configured to produce a signal indicative of the orientation of the magnetic field. A brake and an aircraft are equipped with the position sensor.",
