"textContent": "A charging circuit (100) comprises a first input terminal (122) and a second input terminal (124) for connecting the circuit to a first supply terminal and a second supply terminal, respectively, of a DC power source (130), a first output terminal (126) and a second output terminal (128) for providing an output voltage to a load (140) to be charged, a first switch (102) arranged between the first input terminal (122) and the first output terminal, a current sensor (104, 150) arranged between the first input terminal (122) and the first output terminal (126) in series with the first switch(102), a connecting element (110) comprising a first inductance connector (112) and a second inductance connector (114) for connecting an inductance (106), the first inductance connector (112) connected to the switch (102) and the second inductance connector (114) connected to the first output terminal (126), and a diode element (108) connected to the first inductance connector (112) and the second output terminal (128) such that when the first switch (102) is switched on, current flowing through the first switch (102) is prevented from flowing from the first switch (102) to the second output terminal (128) via the diode element (108). The first switch (102) and the current sensor (104, 150) are arranged to be connected to a control circuit (150) arranged for controlling operation of the first switch (102) in response to a signal received from the current sensor (104, 150).",
