Tank assembly and method for storing and/or transporting deep cooled liquid gases
DRIVE
March 6, 2013
The arrangement (1) has cylindrical single tanks (2) i.e. cryo tanks, elongated in a longitudinal direction (L) and including an outer casing (4) and a circular cross-sectional surface (6) with a center point (7). The single tanks are connected with a cooling area of a refrigerated lorry over connection lines. The single tanks are tightly arranged next to each other and filled with low-cold liquefied gas e.g. low-cold liquefied nitrogen, low-cold liquefied oxygen and/or low-cold liquefied carbon dioxide. A heat bridge is arranged between the tanks to transfer heat between the tanks. An independent claim is also included for a method for storing and/or transporting low cold liquefied gases in a tank arrangement.
