Seat control device, in particular for an aircraft passenger seat

The device has a seat control unit (10) provided for controlling a comfort unit (12). The seat control unit comprises a computing unit (14) e.g. information processor, with a user profile data record (18) defined by a detecting unit (16). The detecting unit partially defines the user profile data record in a detection mode. The control unit controls the comfort unit in an operation condition depending on sensor information of the detecting unit. The detecting unit comprises sensor elements (22-28) for detection of physical parameters.
