A power enabling control circuit is arranged in an electronic device. The electronic device includes a processor, a power integrated circuit, and a Moving Pictures Experts Group chip. The power enabling control circuit is connected to the processor and the Moving Pictures Experts Group chip for receiving a high level voltage from the processor or the Moving Pictures Experts Group chip. The power enabling control circuit is further connected to a power enabling port of the power integrated circuit to provide a high level voltage to the power enabling port based on the received high level voltage, causing the power integrated circuit in a working state to supply power to internal components of the electronic device.
