A charge/discharge device (1) that controls charge/discharge of an electric-power storage apparatus (2) comprises a heating determination unit (31) that determines whether to heat the electric-power storage apparatus (2) based on a temperature of the electric-power storage apparatus (2) at a time of starting up the electric-power storage apparatus (2), and a heating control unit (32) that, when it is determined to heat the electric-power storage apparatus (2), obtains a frequency characteristic of a resistance value of an internal resistance of the electric-power storage apparatus (2) corresponding to a temperature and a charge level of the electric-power storage apparatus (2) and performs control of alternately repeating charge and discharge of the electric-power storage apparatus (2) in a charge/discharge period specified based on the frequency characteristic.
