Tractor with p.t.o. shaft drive

The tractor has a shaft connecting a main motor with a power take-off (PTO) gear (6). The shaft comprises a first shaft portion and a second shaft portion (26) releasably connected to each other adjacent to pulleys i.e. flanges (24, 25). The second shaft portion is axially displaceable into a separation position in a released state such that the second shaft portion is separated from the first shaft portion by a gap (10). The first shaft portion comprises a tapered region, which is radially retained in a bearing (16) in the separation position.
