A slave cylinder includes a first input port (76a) which is provided to a first slave hydraulic chamber (64) and which is connected to a master cylinder (M/C) and is capable of being cut off from the master cylinder (M/C) by a shut-off valve (MCV1); a second input port (76b) provided to a second slave hydraulic chamber (66) and which is connected to the master cylinder (M/C) and is capable of being cut off from the master cylinder (M/C) by a shut-off valve (MCV2); a first atmosphere port (57a) formed in a first back chamber (71) which is disposed in rear of the first slave hydraulic chamber (64) and which moves together with a first piston (62); a second atmosphere port (57b) formed in a second back chamber (56) which is disposed in front of the first slave hydraulic chamber and which moves together with a second piston (63); and a restricting means (79) to restrict the second piston (63) to be moved backward, wherein the second atmosphere port (57b) is disposed in the vicinity of the restricting means (79) in an axial direction of the cylinder (61). This improves a response of a downstream hydraulic pressure.
