A contactless power supply device 100 supplying electric power in a contactless manner to a power receiving device 200 mounted on a moving object includes: a bottom plate 102 structuring an installation face; a power transmitting coil 112 disposed on the bottom plate 102 to supply electric power to a power receiving coil included in the power receiving device 200; and a cover 114 attached to the bottom plate 102 so as to cover the power transmitting coil 112 disposed on the bottom plate 102. A layer of air is formed between the power transmitting coil 112 and the cover 114.
