A power source unit (1) includes a battery module (470) including a stack and a coupling member (440) that binds the stack, the stack including a plurality of battery cells aligned, and a container that accommodates therein the battery module (470). The container includes a projecting portion (220a to 220c) projecting from an inner wall of the container toward a surface of the battery module (470), and a top end portion of the projecting portion (220a to 220c) is located separately from the coupling member (440).
