Device for controlling a fluid powered actuator of a working equipment

DRIVE July 10, 2013
Source
The device (24) has first and second valve units (18, 20) adjusted such that a third valve unit (22) is switched between the first and second valve units and a pressure supply (P). An actuator (16) comprises two actuator sides (KS, RS) that are alternately connected with the pressure supply via two fluid connectors (A, B). Fluid for maintaining constant pressure at one of the actuator sides (RS) in a position of a tool shaft is guided either to the other actuator side or to the former actuator side during connection of one of the fluid connectors (A) with the pressure supply. The third valve unit is designed as a shuttle valve. The first valve unit is designed as a pressure reducing valve. An independent claim is also included for an actuator unit.
