Map magnifier

A method of displaying a map on a mobile device showing a current location of the mobile device, the method comprising determining the current location of the mobile device, displaying the map at a first zoom level, displaying a map magnifier at the current location of the mobile device on the map, the map magnifier displaying a magnified portion of the map within the map magnifier at a second zoom level and comprising an interactive map element.
