The cartridge magazine (14) has a magazine housing (12), in which multiple propellants are arranged. An apparatus is arranged for distribution or delivery of cooling air to cool the propellants. The apparatus is equipped in the cartridge magazine or near to the cartridge magazine. The apparatus is connected to an external cooling air distribution system. An independent claim is also included for a fighting compartment.
