Axle component unit

The axle unit (1) has an axle element (2), which is provided with a connecting piece (3) to receive a guide tube (5), where the guide tube is arranged on the connecting piece of the axle element and is connected by positive fit to the connecting piece. The axle element is a one-piece casting, and comprises a stub axle (4). The connecting piece has a polygonal cross-section for form-fit connection, where the connecting piece is formed conically with decreasing amount of cross-sectional area in the direction of axle element. An independent claim is included for a manufacturing method for an axle unit.
