When it is determined that the distance is the predetermined distance or less, whether assistance with the autonomous lane change control is enabled for the second lane change is determined. When assistance with the autonomous lane change control is enabled, whether a lane change can be made from a subject vehicle lane to an adjacent lane is determined. When the lane change to the adjacent lane can be made, the second lane change is made with the autonomous lane change control.",
