In order to make it possible to correct an object position so as to reduce a deviation in position of a detected object, a video display system () includes: a detection section () for detecting an object from a first video; a time interval estimation section () for estimating a time interval from when the first video is taken to when the object which has been detected by the detection section () is superimposed on a second video; and a first position correction section () for correcting a position of the object in the second video based on a moving speed of an imaging apparatus that takes the second video and the time interval which has been estimated by the time interval estimation section ().
