The battery capsules are in a stacked configuration and include electrical components, e.g., positive and negative electrodes, and positive and negative flow channels through which the positive and negative electrolyte travels, respectively, as well as a separator positioned between the flow channels, and at least one pump. In addition, the battery capsules have a small size as compared to battery capsules known in the art.",
