WIND ENERGY PLANT

A wind energy plant is provided including a plurality of wind turbines and committed to provide a specified quantity of active power over a specified duration in response to a grid under-frequency event, characterized by a plurality of power storage devices, wherein the rated storage capacity of the plurality of power storage devices corresponds to the specified quantity of active power; and wherein the wind energy plant is configured to deliver an active power deficit (ΔPS) when the stored power available in the power storage devices is less than the rated storage capacity at the time of occurrence of a grid under-frequency event.
