Adaptive light module for a motor vehicle headlamp

The module has a complex light source (26) pivotably mounted in an upper bearing (30) and another bearing (32) in a pivot frame (28) around an axis (34). The upper bearing is implemented in form of a calotte bearing with spherical cap-shaped bearing shell, a ball, and a bearing pin. The latter bearing is implemented by a press-fitted ball bearing, and includes another bearing pin, which is received by an inner ring of the ball bearing. A holding frame (22b) of the source is made of plastic composite material. The ball bearing is press-fitted in the frame.
