A lens holder is connected to a rigid contained complex light source (26). The support element includes a metal support structure (22a) and a plastic or plastic-based composite material made support structure (22b) where a portion of the metal support structure is detachably and non-destructively embedded in the material of the plastic support structure. The composite material incorporates carbon fibers and/or metal oxides as additives.
