Method for monitoring a battery

The method involves arranging electronic units (30) for receiving a size of the cells (12,14,16) in contact with the two cells. The cells are connected to a central receiver (22) in communication. The two electronic units have the size and passed to the central receiver. One of the electronic units is provided for receiving a temperature. The other electronic unit is provided for receiving a predetermined measured variable. An independent claim is included for a battery with multiple cells.
