  "textContent": "There is provided a battery pack having an excellent heat radiation performance, being light in weight and capable of keeping its waterproofing performance even if the case is subjected to an outside load. There is also provided a saddle type vehicle including the battery pack. A battery pack 40 includes a case 52 and a first battery unit 62. The case 52 has case members 54, 56 which are assembled with each other. The first battery unit 62 has a plurality of batteries 100, a battery holding portion 102 and a plurality of conductor members. The first battery unit 62 is encased by the case members 54, 56. The case member 54 has a side wall portion 66 and a circumferential wall portion 68, whereas the case member 56 has a side wall portion 72 and a circumferential wall portion 74. The circumferential wall portion 68 and the circumferential wall portion 74 are assembled together with a seal member 152 sandwiched therebetween. The circumferential wall portion 68 has a recess 68f to capture the seal member 152, whereas the circumferential wall portion 74 has a salient 74f to be fitted into the recess 68f. The salient 74f has a maximum thickness T which is greater than a thickness of the side wall portion 66 as well as than a thickness of the side wall portion 72.",
