System for purging gas fuel circuit for a gas turbine engine

A system includes a multi-fuel gas turbine (16) configured to operate on both a liquid fuel system and a gas fuel system, wherein the multi-fuel gas turbine comprises a compressor (34), a combustor (24), and a turbine (30). The system also includes a gas fuel purge system (16) configured to purge a gas fuel circuit (40) of the gas fuel system during liquid fuel operation of the gas turbine (16), wherein the gas fuel purge system (16) is configured to sequentially purge the gas fuel circuit (40) with air and steam.
