The injector (1) has upper and lower peripheral areas (19, 20) provided between a holding body (12) and an overmold (13), where the body is made of metal i.e. steel, and the overmold is made of plastic. The peripheral areas are formed in the form of radially circulating sealing bars (22) made of material of the overmold with sealing geometry (18), where the bars are rotated in the body. The bars are defined by a circulating groove in a surface of the body. Width of the groove at the body surface is minimum, and is increased in sections based on the body surface towards a groove base. The holding body is rotation-symmetrically formed in an area of the sealing geometry. Two sealing areas are arranged at a distance from each other in a longitudinal direction of the holding body.
