A method for using S-(3-aminopropyl)thiosulfuric acid and/or a metal salt thereof added to a rubber component as a raw material of a vulcanized rubber composition, comprising a pre-kneading step A of kneading a rubber component, a filler, S-(3-aminopropyl)thiosulfuric acid and/or a metal salt thereof, a post-kneading step B of kneading the kneaded substance A obtained in the pre-kneading step A, a sulfur component, and a vulcanization accelerator having a weight over the weight of the above-described sulfur component, and a thermal treatment step C of thermally-treating the kneaded substance B obtained in the post-kneading step B to obtain a vulcanized rubber composition, wherein durability is imparted to the vulcanized rubber composition;
