Method and device for providing an optimised route path to find a parking place in an area

The present invention relates a method for providing a driver with an optimised driving path to find a parking place in an area (NGBH), wherein a segment probability value (P SSi ) is assigned (300) to each one of a plurality of street segments (SS i ) belonging to this area, this segment probability value depending on the probability to find at least one parking place in this street segment, the optimised driving path (PTH) being determined (400) based on a computation using these segment probability values before being provided (500) to the driver. The present invention also relates to a computing device (11) able to perform such a method and a system comprising this computing device.
