For example, the driving insights module can calculate the fuel saved by using an alternative power source compared to the fuel that would have been used by a vehicle operated by an internal combustion engine. In response to detecting an ignition off event, the driving insights module can generate the fuel savings estimate. The driving insights module can further output for display the fuel savings estimate.",
