Injector having Multiple Impingement Lengths

An injector (22) includes an injector body (40) that has at least an injection side surface (32). A plurality of passages (50) extends within the injector body (40) for injecting combustion fluids at the injection side surface (32). The plurality of passages include a first set of passages (52a) that has a first arrangement defining a first impingement point (28) in space with regard to the injection side surface (32) and a second, different set of passages (52b) that has a second arrangement defining a second impingement point (34) in space with regard to the injection side surface (32). The first impingement point (28) and the second impingement point (34) are non-equidistant from the injection side surface (32).
