Method for the operation of a gas turbine with flue gas recirculation and corresponding apparatus

The method involves dividing the exhaust gases generated from gas turbine power plant into several exhaust gas streams (21,24). The exhaust gas stream (21) is re-circulated inside the gas turbine (6). The exhaust gas stream (24) is delivered to surroundings. The control element (29) is provided for controlling exhaust gas stream (2) and exhaust gas recirculation cooler (27). The position of compressor guide vanes (38) is adjusted in response to the exhaust gas recirculation and exhaust gas recirculation process parameters. An independent claim is included for gas turbine power plant.
