Vehicle system for navigating and/or driver assistance

The system has a positioning module for determining current vehicle position based on outputs of a satellite signal sensor and other sensors (14) e.g. environment sensor and/or traffic telematic receiver. An advanced driver assistance system horizon provider (22) provides an advanced driver assistance system horizon for driver assistance. The positioning module and the provider are provided in a provider unit (13) that is communicatively coupled with a mobile navigation device (12). The provider provides the horizon with a rate higher than the outputs of the satellite signal sensor. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a vehicle system.
