Gun box

The box (1) has a body (2) attached at a motor car and comprising a lower side (4), and a lockable lid (8) pivotably attached at the body. A bearing element is provided with a contact surface for supporting a weapon that is arranged at the body, where the box is attached in a floor space before a rear bench seat of the motor car. A recess (6) for a transmission tunnel of the motor car is arranged at the lower side of the body of the box. The body is cushioned with plastic at an inner side of the body. An accommodation device for munition and/or an accessory is provided at the body.
