VEHICLE INFORMATION MONITORING APPARATUS

A vehicle information display device generates a request code directed to a vehicle control device and receives response data from the vehicle control device. A vehicle information monitoring device includes a first communication means for communicating with the vehicle information display device, a second communication means for communicating with the vehicle control device, a request control means for causing the second communication means to transmit a second request code when a first request code is received, a response control means for causing the first communication means to transmit response data corresponding to a first request code, and a storage means for storing received response data in coordination with a request code. The request control means causes, if response data corresponding to the first request code is not stored in the storage means, the second communication means to transmit the first request code as the second request code. The request control means causes, if response data corresponding to the first request code is stored in the storage means, the second communication means to transmit a request code different from the first request code as the second request code.
