"textContent": "A battery electric vehicle includes a scheduler configured to invoke conditioning of a battery preceding a time specified by a user. The scheduler instructs a VDM ECU to output a current requirement to drive motors according to a selected drive mode of a vehicle. A BMS ECU receives the current requirement and outputs a temperature requirement required to achieve the current requirement according to a composition of the battery. The BMS ECU outputs the temperature requirement to a TMM, which manages heating of the battery to achieve the temperature requirement. The time at which a vehicle is waked to begin conditioning the battery may be based on whether the vehicle is charging and a current or expected ambient temperature.",
