Method for controlling a group of engines and aircraft

The method involves executing stored instructions to evaluate a main condition according to which an engine group (2) developing a necessary power by making a heat engine from heat engines (6) at rest. The condition is checked for operating an electrical element (4) in a driving mode when a processing unit (10) evaluates that the main condition is checked by jointly stressing the electrical element in the driving mode and a number of heat engines, where the electric element operates temporarily in an electric generating mode when a electric power storage unit (5) is discharged.
