Deviating airbag

A vehicular airbag system, wherein airbags (10, 30, 50) are formed of non-traditional or asymmetric shapes that, in use, act to deflect a vehicle occupant sideways away from an interior vehicle structure (S); the airbags may be or rectangular of asymmetric shape.
